This is the most enjoyable and successful method of training individuals to skydive, proven to be 3 - 5 times faster to achieve the goal of becoming a qualified skydiver than the conventional parachute training system.  You can achieve BPA category 8 status in only a few days, a standard that can take literally months through other training methods.
 

Very briefly AFF is all about quality of instruction and personalised coaching, there will  never be more than 3 students to 1 instructor during training and on your first 3 jumps you will have 2 highly experienced instructors all to yourself !

The course consists of an initial session of ground training normally lasting around 6 -7 hours, then 8 levels of freefall instruction or "skydives" from 12,000 feet, each one introducing new skills and consolidating on those just learnt.  Your instructors will be right there with you all the way from exit to landing, watching over you and giving you "real time" in air coaching, that is why AFF is so successful !  Do not worry, we will only progress when you think, and we know, you are ready.  Before each skydive you will receive detailed, personal briefings, during each skydive you will receive in air coaching, and after each skydive you will receive in depth debriefs, normally with the aid of video footage taken by your instructor from his helmet mounted digital camera.

On levels 1-3 you will jump in the centre of 2 AFF instructors, then from level 4 through to 7 you will only need one instructor to coach you.  On level 8 you make your first solo skydive, this time from 5000', your instructor will remain in the aircraft smiling down at you and recording your face on his camera as you exit !  And that is it, the AFF course completed. Next you must complete 10 "consolidation" jumps from altitude, solo  skydives with guidance and coaching before and after from your instructor.  Oh and don't forget, amongst all this learning and achieving the most important thing, BE SAFE, HAVE FUN !
